Star Trails....
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.... Here is a Trail of Stars…
The Beauty in the Sky. Dark Sky & Running Bright Stars...
I had ben working since Nov'2009, kept trying to understand the calculation of such shots. Explored Google so I can get some clues from descriptions by International Photographers.... Alas! I failed... But, Thanks a million to Mother Nature, at last I somehow could understand the Math of these kind of shots….
Seldom many photographers, take 5 shots of 10 mins each with long exposure. I had no mentor or guide to find all this. Finally, I decided to teach my own self. In the winter nights of January into the mountains of Himalayas, Uttrakhand (North India), with an altitude of approximately 5,000 ft ASL, I went to the lower terrace with my camera & accessories fixed on a tripod. Tried it all hard, exposed every shot for more than 1 & half hour & some were 2 hours 45 mins too (Thanks to God, I had a good battery back up). Many times, I got the clouds interference & sometimes my body started to freeze but, I was all set to go with my intention to get this Star Trails.  The below shot, was exposed for 2 hour 55 mins on my 4th night of trials. Yes, it is true, Patience & Hard & continuous work can actually make you achieve, what no other support can do.
Today, I do not repent to have any Guru/Mentor for my Photography. I am happy, that, “I am a Self Made Master”. Yet, I, then, decided to teach everyone who comes to me to learn Photography & of course with no FEES. Because, when I wanted to learn, at that time, all those Big Photographers, gave best of their excuses to push me away, But, I will never do the same with any Novice or Armature.
I believe, “My Photography is a Gift from Mother Nature & Lord Shiva & Gift has no price, Gifts can not be sold but can be shared” - by KS

Even I know this is not the best shot, but, to be honest, I m more than Happy because I made all effort to get this one by my own self….
